The “First Man” Albert Camus was a first draft. He died before starting the hard work and the long review process. Never before had a novel given me the thrill from the first to the last page. I absolutely admired his direct and elegant, delicate and subtle construction, in short, a masterpiece that emerged so effortlessly and naturally from his pen. Certainly it was not his first novel, but his last. Nevertheless he had a talent for writing which was elaborated despite being unrefined.
